The reverse side says “Six Livres” referring to the Six Books of the Republic which is a work of political philosophy written by Jean Bodin and published in 1576.
The French "Règne de la Loi" coin, meaning "Reign of Law", refers to a specific type of French silver coin minted during the French Revolution around 1793. It features a winged genius figure, often referred to as the "Genie of France," writing the word "Loi" (Law) on a tablet.
